1. How is your framing different from my local art and framing shop?
At art.com, we offer professional framing at affordable prices, so you can save up to 40% over your local frame shop. Our centralized Custom Frame Shop enables us to cut out middlemen and pass on the savings to you. Choose from thousands of frame and mat combinations in our interactive online frame studio. Or, choose a framed art version of your selected artwork that’s created by our designers. You can enjoy your framed art within days, not weeks, with the fastest turnaround of custom framed items in the industry.

2. Do you offer double or triple matting options?
Yes we do. To find multiple matting options for a print, simply select the product, click the "See it Framed" button, and click "Step 3, Matting." If you need help, contact our Customer Experience Team toll free at 1-800-952-5592 or via email at support@art.com.

3. What kind of mats do you offer?
We have a wide range of high-quality matting materials, including paper and acid-free paper. We also let you see the effect of various mat treatments and various mat widths in our Custom Frame Shop.

4. What kind of glass do you use?
We use glass or acrylic on our framed products. We offer eight glazing options, including standard glass, non-glare glass, standard UV glass, non-glare UV glass, and standard acrylic, non-glare acrylic, standard UV acrylic, and non-glare UV acrylic. Note that glazing often refers to the glass used to protect a framed print, but is not restricted to glass alone. The acrylic selections have outstanding optical clarity and a lightweight impact resistance. 5. Can I buy just a frame, mat, or glass?
At this time, we do not sell framing materials unless purchased and assembled with a print we offer.

6. Can all items on the site be framed?
We provide custom framing for the majority of items found on our web site, including canvas transfers. Due to shipping restrictions, however, we are unable to frame any prints where the frame size is larger than 42” x 53”. If you choose an item that is too large to frame, you will be notified of this in the Custom Frame Shop. If the item has a border, you may have the option of cropping off the border to reduce its size.

7. Can you assist me with art framing choices?
Absolutely! For many of our products, framing suggestions can be found within our Custom Frame Shop. If you'd like, contact our Customer Experience Team toll free at 1-800-952-5592 or via email at support@art.com with your framing question and we will be happy to assist you.

8. Can I frame a print I already own?
No. We do not provide framing services for pre-owned prints. All of our framing materials are custom-fitted to prints we provide.

9. Can you send me samples of the moulding and matting you offer?
Currently, Art.com does not offer samples of our framing components.
