1. How do I purchase a gift certificate?
You can order a gift certificate through our web site or over the phone. Click this link to get started: http://www.art.com/asp/gc/default.asp

2. Will I receive acknowledgement for the gift certificate I purchased?
Yes. After purchasing a gift certificate, as with any other order, you will receive a confirmation email giving you an account name, account number, and password, which you can use to confirm the status of your order.

3. Can I include a gift message?
Yes. During the checkout process, you will see a gift messaging area. Simply type your personal message in that area.

4. How are gift certificates sent?
Electronic gift certificates are sent via email.

5. Will I be notified when the gift certificate is sent?
Yes. You will receive an email notifying you that the certificate has been emailed to the recipient.

6. When will the recipient receive the gift certificate?
Once we verify payment in full, electronic gift certificates are sent within 24 hours.

7. Can I prevent the recipient from seeing the price of the gift certificate?
Yes, Art.com can remove the price from the invoice. To request this, have your order number ready and contact our Customer Experience Team toll free at 1-800-952-5592 or via email at support@art.com.

8. How can I redeem my gift certificate?
When placing your order, you will be prompted for payment. This page includes a field where you can enter in your gift certificate number and click “Apply.” If the gift certificate is not enough to cover the balance of the order, you will be prompted for an additional form of payment (which may be an additional gift certificate).

9. How can I check the status of a gift certificate I received?
To check the status of your gift certificate, click this link http://www.art.com/asp/gc/gc_redeem.asp. Enter your Gift Certificate Claim Code and click "Check Status."

10. What if my order total is less than the value of my gift certificate?
If you don't use your entire balance, we will save the remaining balance so you can use it toward future purchases.

11. What if my order total is more than the value of my gift certificate?
If your order total exceeds your gift certificate balance, you will be prompted for credit card information or another payment method for the difference.

12. When do your gift certificates expire?
Art.com gift certificates never expire.

13. Can I exchange my gift certificate for cash?
No. Art.com gift certificates are not redeemable for cash or refund, nor can they be transferred to another person.
