Are laminated prints and posters shipped flat or rolled?
1. What is a laminated print?
A laminated print is a print that is enclosed between two clear protective films. The films provide protection against fading, fingerprints and other contaminates.
2. What can and cannot be laminated?
Prints and posters are ideal for laminating. However, lamination is permanent, so once a print or poster is laminated, it cannot be undone. Collectible or valuable items should not be laminated.
3. Can I frame a laminated print or poster?
At this time, Art.com does not offer framing for laminated prints or posters.
4. Why would I want to laminate a print or poster?
When framing is not an option, lamination is the ideal solution for protecting and prolonging the life of your prints.
5. How does the lamination film compare to glass or acrylic?
When framing is not an option and glass or acrylic will not be used, then the lamination film is an excellent alternative. We use a clear, reflective control film that maintains color brightness and image clarity while reducing glare.
6. Are laminated prints and posters shipped flat or rolled?
In order to reduce your shipping charges and provide you with cost savings, we roll laminated prints and posters and ship them in tubes.
