Alfred Gockel

Alfred Gockel's powerful and distinctive abstracts are alive with rich primary colors, deep black accents, ebbing and flowing lines, and intensely kinetic motion. Born in Germany, Gockel had his first art published when he was eight years old. His studies in design emphasized typography, graphic design and advertising. From etching to serigraphy, Gockel's highly identifiable signature style has been used by the porcelain, carpet and sportswear industries.
