I’m drawn to organic materials: the beauty of wood grain in its natural state and vintage objects with the patina of age rather than mass-produced items. Mid-century Modern influences my designs, more for the clean lines and lack of fuss than for its designation as a "period style." I’m inspired by helping people create spaces they love because I believe you must love the space you’re in as much as the skin you’re in.
Kenneth Brown’s passion for interior design started at an early age when he was tasked to rake the leaves at his family home. Instead of placing the raked leaves in bags, he managed to create a large floor plan by raking them into hallways complete with rooms, bathrooms and sunken living rooms. He never looked back and at the early age of 26 he started his own interior design firm in Los Angeles. Kenneth’s early projects were commissions for a young celebrity crowd doing homes in New York, London and California. As his firm grew, so did the recognition, leading to his own hit series on HGTV, reDesign. He went on to develop product lines for the home featured in exclusive one-time sales through QVC. He now focuses on large scale residential projects, hospitality jobs, and recently opened an office in the Gulf South to cater to the growing resort/casino market.
