I love old things, used things, loved things: my 100-year-old house and my 16-year-old car and my 90-year-old grandparents (especially my 90-year-old grandparents). Working outdoors, the colors orange and yellow, road trips that lead to places seemingly ordinary -- you'd be surprised what I find inspiring. About:
I'm Art.com's Manager of Content + Curation. It's my job to help keep the content on this site fresh and inspiring, and I love it.
I have over a decade of experience creating thought-provoking media for the art world: 60-some audio and multimedia tours in nine languages for major museums and cultural sites, puppet shows for young children, interactive videos on 18th-Century porcelain, websites for rabid Broadway fans, and more.
Outside of work, I'm happily married to the brilliant designer behind the best art magazine in the world (http://www.juxtapoz.com/). We work together nonstop on restoring our old house in the Oakland hills, debate what to hang on the walls, and constantly try to keep up with our fruit trees and our dog, Sam.
