Didier Lourenco’s artwork is resplendent in rich, dappled colors, cheerfully bustling scenes and an energetic mosaic of distinctively unusual figures and shapes. From Barcelona, Lourenco began learning lithography in his father’s print studio when he was 19, using a small corner of it to create paintings, honing his craft by learning from visiting artists passing through the studio. His creativity is nurtured by frequent excursions to Northern Italy, Paris, Lisbon and New York. Lourenco has won several prestigious awards in Barcelona, and has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions.
