Dudash’s intense, patriotic “Olympic Swimmers.” Originally from Minnesota, Dudash started as a freelance illustrator, creating over 1,000 images for books, magazines, film companies, advertising agencies and corporations. He later attained acclaim for landscapes, figures and still lifes fashioned from oils on handcrafted linen. His works are immersed in drama and realism, as well as his personal faith. Dudash has contributed articles to magazines, conducted lectures, and won awards from the Society of Illustrators, the Society of Publication Designers and numerous other respected organizations.
From the motion of Olympic athletes to the stillness of spiritual scenes, Michael C. Dudash immerses his artworks in a captivating mixture of realism, drama, light and romantic ambiance.
