About the Artwork

People and wildlife exude a magical, mystical ambiance in the soft, subtle artworks of Gosia Gajewska. Originally from Poland, Gajewska attended Warsaw’s Academy of Beau Art. Mesmerized by the beauty of southern France, she is inspired by the majesty of nature, particularly animals, saying, “Animals represent for me all the power of Mother Nature, the strength of our life on Earth.” This is reflected in her images of elephants, giraffes and zebras suffused with the tawny African heat. Gajewska’s work has been exhibited in Paris and numerous other European cities.
