American Flamingo, from 'The Birds of America' (aquatint & engraving with hand-colouring), Audubon, John James (1785-1851) / Private Collection / Photo © Christie's Images / The Bridgeman Art Library
This stretched canvas print is the result of sophisticated digital printing technology in which the image is printed directly onto an artist-grade, 100% cotton canvas. The canvas is then expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars and carefully finished with hand-painted edges. An acrylic coating protects the stunning giclee print from dust, moisture and fading. Watermark will not appear on finished product.

- Great Quality Material
- Nice Workmanship
- Visually Appealing
I'm pretty happy with this piece overall. We ordered it mounted on wood, and the quality of the mounting is really nice. It's very solid. The top of the piece tilts off the wall a little more than we expected and looks a little "off." The only others thing that bothers me is that because the print is basically of a book page, the lines of the page don't quite line up with the lines of the top of the piece, so it can be hard to get it exactly straight (something I'm a little nitpicky about)--if the top of the print is straight, the top of the page looks a little crooked, and vice versa.
