This stretched canvas print is the result of sophisticated digital printing technology in which the image is printed directly onto an artist-grade, 100% cotton canvas. The canvas is then expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars and carefully finished with hand-painted edges. An acrylic coating protects the stunning giclée print from dust, moisture and fading.

- The Artist
Inspired by Ella Fitzgerald, Trish Biddle's “Fever” depicts a jazz singer who appears to melt into a piano, seared by the heat of her own song. Biddle excels in an Art-Deco style that captures the era’s elegance, fashion and simplicity in broad, romantic brushstrokes and rich, plush colors. Biddle’s background as an illustrator and textile designer is evident in her figurative works, florals, fashion images and children’s art. The textile, ironwork and architectural backgrounds of her paintings are influenced by her own designs and travels. Biddle’s mysterious and romantic artworks are published and collected around the world. This piece pairs well with “Madamoiselle.”
Trish Biddle creates provocative Art Deco-flavored works infused with sensuality and mystery. Originally an illustrator and textile designer, Biddle employs a style immersed in broad, luxurious brushstrokes and rich, plush colors to capture the era’s fashion, elegance and simplicity. Biddle intentionally obscures the faces of her subjects so viewers can invent their own romantic storylines. She paints figurative works (often featuring tango dancers), florals, fashion and children’s art. Published worldwide, Biddle's works are featured in numerous corporate and private collections.
