The Resurrection: The Angels rolling away the Stone from the Sepulchre, Blake, William (1757-1827) / Victoria & Albert Museum, London, UK / The Bridgeman Art Library
This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.

It is William Blake; what more can I say? I bought this work wood mounted. The wood mount is of high quality and (in my opinion) far superior to framing--cheaper too.
I have Blake in my living space, it is large piece to give the audience an appreciate of the angel rolling the tomb stone away. The detail of the angelic subjects of Christ are well done and the water color comes well. You truly see a fusion of color, and when necessary distinct contour lines.
Overall, the light comes from Christ and this is certainly what Blake depicts in this nightly scene. It is clear that the angels draw their inspiration from Christ and adore him, as I do! A perfect piece.
