Champagne gold flows throughout Kern Erickson’s nostalgic “Pacific Coast,” warming the beach, waves and hillsides with lustrous, welcoming radiance. Southern California’s Pacific Electric Railway had distinctive red cars which boosted tourism by transporting travelers to beachside destinations in the early 1900s. Erickson, who meticulously researches his subjects, rendered the rail car with historically accurate detail, as well as the vehicles dotting the shore.

I purchased 6 of these vintage travel prints and like them very much. They are very nostalgic and hark back to the days when air travel was a luxury. However, due to their odd size (9x12 or 9x13) matting and framing them cost much more than the prints themselves. I've only framed 3. Unless you can cut your own mats (or want to pay custom) don't buy these prints.
I needed specific colors and size and had seen this poster elsewhere. When I found it on this website, I was pleased with the way it was shown, helping me make my decision.
