I purchased this piece for my living room. It was a little darker than I expected--I saw the pop of brightness in the center and just imagined that it was lighter than it was. I am very, very pleased overall. It simple to hang, and it looks beautiful above my chocolate-colored couch and against a khaki-colored wall. It seems to have a little bit of a red undertone, which I love.
