- The Print
- The Artist
Jerry Clovis literally awoke in the middle of the night wanting to be an artist, envisioning exactly how his paintings would look. He bought art supplies the next day, and developed a signature style of long, uninterrupted brushstrokes that undulate with the shapes of musical instruments, nature and the human body. Some of Clovis’ works are so illusory, he calls them “multifunctional,” referring to two-dimensional forms that are so abstract, their shapes play multiple roles. Clovis’ imaginative, kinetic art is treasured by galleries, five-star resorts, designers and collectors nationwide.
