About the Artwork  
Fantasy and reality converge in the prismatic artworks of Judeen, which fuse recognizable elements with abstract forms, textures and gemlike pools of color. Born in Kingston, Jamaica, she has spent most of her life in South Florida, where she attended the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale. An illustrator until 1998, Judeen relishes the freedom of painting. She is well versed in many artistic styles and enjoys exploring different mediums and techniques. Judeen believes that experimentation is a valuable learning process that allows her to grow and mature artistically.
