    Out of six Pride and Prejudice illustrations, I chose five and arranged them as a kind of vignette of Jane Austen's irresistible plot. They are hung sequentially above the bookcase. Not everyone knows exactly what they represent, but Janeite friends and relatives do. It's fun to watch them examine and then smile when they recognize what they are seeing. Art.com has a beautiful range of literary illustrations from which to choose, so if you have a favorite classic you might want to check out how it has been interpreted and illustrated by various artists over the years.

I gave another print by the same artist but framed without the mat as a Christmas gift and was pleased with that one as well. I also like the framing hardware provided.
