Autumnal Equinox Print by Edward Aparicio at Art.com
This giclée print delivers a vivid image with maximum color accuracy and exceptional resolution. The standard for museums and galleries around the world, giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface. With the great degree of detail and smooth transitions of color gradients, giclée prints appear much more realistic than other reproduction prints. The high-quality paper (235 gsm) is acid free with a smooth surface.

Tranquility emanates from the quiet grace of plants silhouetted against a haze of dappled sunlight in Edward Aparicio’s “Autumnal Equinox.” Softly diffused shades of taupe, gold and bronze deepen the work’s sense of serenity. Aparicio was born in Peru and immigrated to Miami when he was 12. Strongly influenced by his late grandfather, renowned Peruvian artist Manuel Martinez de Aparicio, he began drawing and sketching at age 6. Aparicio received degrees in advertising and graphic design, as well as computer graphics and fine art. His work has been exhibited at numerous galleries throughout Florida, including several in Miami, Coral Gables and Fort Lauderdale.
