A model peeks out from underneath a large sailor hat in this image, which appeared in the March 1950 Glamour. The chapeau is made of natural Tuscan straw, accented with a coral velvet band. She holds a bouquet of delightful flowers, which obscure her smile and even most of her suit jacket. Set against a pale-mint-green backdrop, the photograph, by Clifford Coffin, manages to be both sweet and mysterious.
