Legendary star Rudolph Valentino has remained a symbol of early Hollywood glamour, despite a career that was cut short by death at age 31. Valentino danced in nightclubs and dance halls before landing a spot with a touring company that took him to California. There he got a few parts in films, but it was the role in 'The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse' that made him a star. After that came 'Uncharted Seas,' 'Camille,' and 'The Sheik.' This photograph, taken shortly before his death, ran along with a memorial piece in the October 1926 Vanity Fair. Photograph by Edward Steichen. Digitally Printed on Archival Photographic Paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display. Price
