Paul and Grace Hartman were a dancing comedy duo during the 1940s, whose popularity on the nightclub circuit earned them parts on Broadway. The husband-and-wife team were each rewarded with a Tony for their performances in Angel in the Wings, in 1948. Edward Steichen took a series of photographs of the Hartmans dancing that appeared in the February 1936.
