Originally commissioned for the January 15, 1968, Vogue, but never published, this image features famous '60s model Veruschka throwing up her arms, smiling and carefree, while sitting on the edge of a sailboat. Photographer Franco Rubartelli traveled off the coast of the Brazilian island Itaparica to shoot this amazing fashion photograph, set against a seemingly endless ocean, tropical blue sky, and clouds. Veruschka wears a denim dress and aluminum belt by Sant'Angelo Alcoa.
