Muirfield, in Gullane, Scotland, is thought to be the oldest golf club in the world and is one of the most difficult for a visitor to gain access. The course was designed by Old Tom Morris and opened for play in 1891. This photo of the 13th hole by Stephen Szurlej, Senior Staff Photographer, Golf Digest, puts you on the course minus the red tape. The course has hosted numerous championships and was ranked No. 5 on Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Courses Outside the U.S. in 2007-08.

This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.
