Located in Pinehurst, N.C., and part of the legendary Pinehurst Resort, the Pinehurst No. 2 Golf Course was designed by Donald Ross in 1907. This challenging course, considered one of the best in the country, was No. 19 on Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Golf Courses and No. 3 on Golf Digest's 100 Greatest Public Golf Courses 2007-08. Crowned greens, carefully planned bunkers, unruly routing and water hazards all combine to make this course a challenge and a joy to play. This photo of the 16th hole was taken by Stephen Szurlej, Senior Staff Photographer, Golf Digest.
Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands. Find this and other artwork at the Condé Nast Collection.
This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.
