William Bolin's fashion illustrations, which frequently appeared on vintage Vogue covers, often placed the figure of a woman against a striped background to best highlight her apparel. Here, a flapper wears a classic dropped-waist gown with a double strand of pearls and stacks of bangles, while a single oversize red feather catches the eye. The drawing graced the November 1, 1927, Vogue cover, the New York Winter Fashions issue of the magazine.

This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
