Lauded as one of the world’s most groundbreaking fashion illustrators, his work was in-demand by the top haute couture fashion houses in France. His innovative use of motion and storyline can be seen on British “Vogue’s” first cover or any of the eight “Vogue” covers he illustrated within one year. Lepape’s work also graced the cover of “Harper’s Bazaar” as well as catalogs, movie posters, and ads for ballets and luxury items.
