A formal midafternoon party sets the stage for Pierre Mourgue's expertly rendered work. The woman in the foreground wears a black crepe roma dress by Joseph with wide gray-blue cuffs, a high waistline, and a circle skirt. Next to her a woman wears a soft gray-pink crepe de Chine dress by Stein and Blaine with a wide, looping collar. The seated woman wears a sheer black marquisette dress by Milgrim with fine tucks around the waist and hips. The men wear formalwear and semi-formalwear. The illustration appeared in the March 1, 1930, Vogue.

This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
