Jean Pagès's work depicts four women standing in a hallway, all wearing the latest fashions with three-quarter sleeves. A young woman in a plaid silk frock and matching jacket from Gervais is accompanied by a a friend in a printed silk suit with fur trim from Bergdorf Goodman. In the background, a woman in a wool suit with flared sleeves and a white blouse from Goupy converses with another in a sheer tweed ensemble with a fur-edged scarf cape from Saks Fifth Avenue. The speckled light and lean, angular models make this drawing just as fetching as the fashions. The illustration appeared in the February 1, 1931, Vogue.

This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
