Published December 1, 1962Blacklisted in Hollywood during the 1950s for his controversial testimony in front of the House Un-American Activities Committee, the brilliant comic actor Zero Mostel would make a triumphant return in the '60s with gems such as A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and The Producers. The December 1962 GQ cover wryly featured Mostel (who was Jewish) as a Christmas angel clad in gold, with a beatific expression lighting up his face. Photograph by Art Kane.Photo licensed from the Condé Nast Collection, home of The New Yorker, Vogue, Vanity Fair and other popular brands. Find this and other artwork at the Condé Nast Collection. This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
