Showing the creative genius of legendary art director Alex Liberman, the fashion photographer Horst P. Horst was asked to shoot this model lying on her back with her feet in the air, giving the illusion of balancing a large red ball with her feet. She wears a white maillot and bathing cap in this image from the May 15, 1941, cover of Vogue magazine.

The stretched canvas print is the result of sophisticated digital printing technology in which the image is printed directly onto an artist-grade, 100% cotton canvas. The canvas is then expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars and carefully finished with hand-painted edges. An acrylic coating protects the stunning giclée print from dust, moisture and fading.

Hesitated to have the large print mounted. Thought it would be best for bathroom location. Couldn't have chosen a better option. Looks outstanding!
