Miss Edith Cummings, 'The New Champion' of women's golf, was featured on The American Golfer cover from November 3, 1923, after winning the Women's Golf Championship at Westchester that year. Editor Grantland Rice discusses Cummings' golfing family—both she and her brother played competitively—comparing them to the Wethereds, other championship golfers who are brother and sister. James Montgomery Flagg created the Cumming illustration for the vintage sport pictorial magazine.

This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.
