        Really great. Got this for the girlfriend, we saw it together in Amsterdam several years ago and this is a nice reproduction. Was worried it would not be worth the money, but having it on canvas is nice, far nicer than a poster. The detail is great, colors are bright, and I suppose it would have been better if there were depth to the paint itself, but I didn't want a knock-off. Also would have got a slightly larger print if I had to do it again. I purchased the 28x28 and the real thing is 40x30 or so. Oh well, great gift.

            Excellent quality product. I love the way it is stretched over the frame. Even up close it looks like a real painting. Looks fantastic on my office wall. Really brightens up a drab room. I thought it might be too big in my small office, but actually it is a perfect size. Just love it!

Epitomizing the tormented artist, Van Gogh (1853 – 1890) was a post-Impressionist Master whose fragile psyche was uplifted by the healing effects of painting outdoors. Extraordinarily prolific, Van Gogh produced all of his works during a 10-year period—at one point, creating an astonishing 150 paintings and drawings within one year. Although Van Gogh only sold one painting within his lifetime, he profoundly influenced modern Expressionism, Fauvism and Early Abstraction.

Astoundingly prolific, Van Gogh produced all of his work during a 10-year period, at one point, creating 150 paintings and drawings within one year. Painting outdoors, Van Gogh uniquely captured the nighttime nuances of light and shadow, and was also renowned for his paintings of sunflowers and irises. Tormented by mental illness for most of his life, Van Gogh created many of his masterpieces while he was institutionalized. Although Van Gogh only sold one painting during his lifetime, he is now regarded as one of the most profoundly influential artists of the 19th century.
