Jan Weiss’ beautiful mixed media artworks are like keepsakes from a treasured scrapbook. Residing in Northern California, Weiss originally drew human figures, before discovering her love of mixed media collage. Incorporating paper, postcards and various collectible items, Weiss’ art is inspired by fabric designs, old buildings and patterns she sees in daily life. She enhances her work with text, graphic and organic images of trees and plants. Weiss also enjoys creating unique artworks through digital media and freehand drawing.
