About the Artwork  
Like the tide to the shore, artist Jacqueline Penney returns time and again to her favorite painting subjects - sandy beaches, sailing vessels, ocean views, and warm tropical locations that have the soothing ability to lure the viewer a world away. Even when painting from her home gallery in Long Island, she doesn’t have to travel far for inspiration. One of Penney’s award-winning paintings hangs in the Zimmerli Art Museum as part of the permanent collection of the National Association of Women Artists. Penney, a teacher for over 25 years, is also a published author of two books, one on watercolor painting and the other on acrylic painting.

I love this Print

While I don't think this print is as vivid in colors as I expected, I still love it. The detail is clear, such as the beach grass in the foreground.
I bought this as one of two prints to put up in my bedroom which is being redecorated as a beach cottage retreat to offset the Idaho grey winter. I'm very happy with the result. No more SAD for me.
