My husband moved into our home many years ago and somehow ended up putting in a red-orange counter! The cabinets are yellow and of a kind that can't be painted. Since we couldn't afford to completely renovate our kitchen, we repainted it yellow with orange trimming. It looked okay, but kind of "blah," strangely enough. I therefore needed something to enliven it, which this piece does. It was way too big, but we had it cut down and now have two beautiful pictures. They really enliven the kitchen, and it looks much better than it probably sounds. Colors are brilliant.
I put it in my small half bath. Perfect to bring a little color to beiges and neutral tones.
Very happy with this product. Delivery was on time and packaged very well. It is exactly as I expected - the frame, mat, etc. I have it on a yellow kitchen wall, and it looks great. My only disappointment is that I wish I had gone for the non-glare glass. I ended up getting a piece from a local frame shop and replacing it myself, because when my kitchen light is on it was like looking in a mirror. I guess other art in my house has non-glare, and I didn't know it. I'm sure I'll order more things from Art.com in the future, and I'll know to get the non-glare glass. It's worth the extra $.
