I wanted a print to represent Kentucky to go along with my prints for South Carolina (palmetto and moon logo) and Florida (map of state from 1900). It looks great.

A photographer for “National Geographic,” Raymond Gehman has traveled the world capturing stunning images which exalt both the astounding and the ordinary in nature and humanity. Gehman, who is a “National Geographic” editor and has been shooting for them for 20 years, was 9 years old when one of the magazine’s photographers visited his school inspiring him to pursue photography. Gehman says photography is special because it expresses everyone’s unique view of the world, and he enjoys depicting “the little weird details.” Residing in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, Gehman also lectures and judges photo contests.
