            I love the artwork itself. Gustav Klmt depicted a beautiful interpretation of the Tree of Life piece. The intricate work, the detail, the color schemes -- it all made it look incredibly tasteful, decorative, and beautiful.

            I had a fun time picking out the frame and Art.com certainly gave me a lot of great choices to choose from! It was so easy and interactive to see what each frame, mat combination, etc., would look with the artwork.

            Many of our visitors thought the picture & frame cost us a lot!

            We used this oversize piece to fill a wall at the end of a hallway and it just added a new level of vibrancy and aliveness to an otherwise dark, boring corridor!

              Gustav Klimt (1862 – 1918) was a brilliant Austrian iconoclast who rose from childhood impoverishment to become an artist who enormously impacted the Viennese Secession and Art Nouveau movement. Known for elaborate, explicitly sensual paintings and murals, Klimt’s works also encompass themes of regeneration, love and death. Embedding his work with images symbolizing the freedom of art from traditional Western culture, Klimt’s eclectic range of influences included Egyptian, Classical Greek, Byzantine and Medieval styles.
