A wounded Marine is dragged to an evacuation helicopter by Cpl. James Williams of Craig, Colo., left and Cpl. Frank T. Guilford of Philadelphia, who sustained a face wound himself when supply column 21 was attacked on Vietnam's Van Tuong Peninsula Aug. 19, 1965. The inidentified Marine was pulled from a tank destroyed by Viet Cong guerrillas. The supply column came under heavy fire when it failed to link up with the company it was to resupply. This photographic print is digitally printed on archival photographic paper resulting in vivid, pure color and exceptional detail that is suitable for museum or gallery display.
