The British aircraft carrier Theseus leaves Portsmouth, England, August 18, 1950 on its way to join other British Naval Forces operating in Korean waters. The Royal Naval disclosed a possible case of sabotage aboard the vessel four days before its departure. Electrical wiring which led to the ship's Gyro compass was found slashed. The navy said the damage was easily repaired. The Theseus is a 10,000-tonner and carries 40 planes and a crew of 850 men.
This photographic print is digitally printed on archival quality paper with vivid color and exceptional detail, suitable for museum or gallery display.
