The compelling patchwork Noussaief creates in Arabesque suggests the separation of land and sea. The artist pays homage to the people of the marshes where he grew up by recreating their world. Harmonious earth tones are typical of Noussaief's paintings, which he calls "spots of freedom."

Comments:
A little disappointed in vividness of color, but still works in our space. Unfortunately, you can read "art.com" trademark info on white part of print. Frame does not cover the writing. It's very small, but makes is look a little cheap. Also, a lot of glare in glass, but not available in "glare-free". With all that said, I still kept the print. It looks nice in the space - both size and colors. Just could be better.
