Thurgood Marshall’s Honeymoon. Thurgood Marshall, chief legal counsel for the NAACP, surprised all but his closest friends in December when he married Cecelie Suyat, a Hawaiian-born secretary in the NAACP's New York offices. Slipping off to the Virgin Islands for a honeymoon, the Marshalls were surprised in turn to run into an EBONY writer-photographer team at the plush Virgin Isle Hotel. As a result, EBONY presents in this issue a picture story on the newly-weds enjoying their honeymoon in this tropic paradise.
This fine art Giclee on canvas print has been museum-wrapped around 1.5” wood stretcher bars, and finished with handpainted black edges.
