Wigs Mark Moods of Leslie Uggams. Leslie Uggams, one of the brightest young stars i show business, demonstrates why more and more women are favoring wigs. Starring in the Broadway musical Hallelujah, Baby! Leslie portrayed 60 years of Negro experience by changing wigs to depict different periods. At one point (c) she was a night club dancer of the 20's. she also wore wigs that showed (clockwise) style of the 40s, elegance of the 50's, a transitional poodle cut and a "Topsy" wig symbolic of plantation days.
This stretched canvas print is the result of sophisticated digital printing technology in which the image is printed directly onto an artist-grade, 100% cotton canvas. The canvas is then expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars and carefully finished with hand-painted edges. An acrylic coating protects the stunning giclée print from dust, moisture and fading.
