Isaac Hayes Dancer Tells of Her 5 Yrs. In Prison. Isaac Hayes and Helen Washington, his dancer-accompanist, sporting flamboyant attire and shaved heads, are among the most talked about entertainers in the U.S. Until three years ago, Miss Washington was doing time in the Tennessee State Prison for Women in Nashville on felony charges. How Hayes helped her win freedom and ultimate "redemption" is told in the EBONY May 1972 issue.
This stretched canvas print is the result of sophisticated digital printing technology in which the image is printed directly onto an artist-grade, 100% cotton canvas. The canvas is then expertly stretched around 1.5" wooden bars and carefully finished with hand-painted edges. An acrylic coating protects the stunning giclée print from dust, moisture and fading.
