Orignal work was Silkscreen on canvas, 260 x 152 cm, edition of ten.
One of the most influential artists of his generation, Jean-Michel Basquiat (1960-1988) catapulted to fame with his raw graphic fusion of words, cartoons and cultural references. His close friendships with Keith Haring and Andy Warhol and his tragically early death only add intrigue to his brief but brilliant career. Art.com has reached deep into the Basquiat Estate archives to handpick these rare images, many of which are only exhibited in museums. Each piece has been carefully reproduced with our giclée printing process to maximize color accuracy and resolution.
This giclée print offers beautiful color accuracy on a high-quality paper (235 gsm) that is a great option for framing with its smooth, acid free surface. Giclée (French for “to spray”) is a printing process where millions of ink droplets are sprayed onto the paper’s surface creating natural color transitions.

The print and quality itself is great! The size of the print was smaller than I expected, but that could be put on myself or not physically measuring. When I received that print it was very poorly rolled (unevenly) into the shipping sleeve. I don't really think this had anything to do with the shipping itself, though it may have, but more so possible how it's being stored until it was purchased. The rolling of the print was oblong, making it difficult to frame evenly. It feels as though it has been sitting for quite sometime in a rolled form with most likely something on top of it. It may be better to store you're prints flat until they are sold if they are not already being stored that way now. It gives the customer a better end result.
This piece is better than I expected and it fits in perfectly with the space I intended.
looks great hanging in pride of place above the bed...
