This beautiful US map, first published in May of 1933, accompanied a National Geographic article entitled, "How the United States Grew." Perhaps a sign of the times, the cartographers employed decidedly muted tones for the map. Wonderful typography and incredible attention to detail make this a map that is perfect for any collection.
This art print displays sharp, vivid images with a high degree of color accuracy on paper similar to that of a postcard or greeting card. A member of the versatile family of art prints, this high-quality reproduction represents the best of both worlds: quality and affordability.

For years we couldn't decide what would look unusual and great on a certain wall. Just searching through art.com site randomly and this map came up.
Not to make a hasty purchase we waited a few weeks to see if we still felt the same about it. Ordered it and we are soooo pleased. It is a great addition to our living room. Very unique!
