Imbued in the warm, melting colors of a desert sunset, Susan Osborne’s art emanates uncluttered beauty. Osborne was raised in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, where the adjacent Amish culture influenced the simple lines, forms and designs of her art. Educated in New York, she was further inspired by its art museums and galleries, particularly the Metropolitan Museum and the Museum of Modern Art. Awarded a scholarship to study in Europe, Osborne received a degree from the illustrious Glasgow School of Art in Scotland. Osborne currently resides in Arizona, where the tranquil simplicity of her desert surroundings finds its way into her art.
