June Dudley’s cascading gardens, lush landscapes and poignant Western scenes convey an outer beauty animated by her inner passion. Dudley grew up and lives on a 4,000-acre ranch in central Texas, instilling her with a love of nature and a familiarity with cowboys. A schoolteacher for 18 years, Dudley painted during summer vacations before studying with Bob Wygant and becoming a full-time artist. All of the figures portrayed in her works, which are crafted in an Impressionistic Realist style, are friends and family members. Dudley’s art has been featured in exhibitions and magazines, and has won numerous Southwestern awards.
