Paul Ranson was a leader of the Nabis, a group of post-Impressionist, avant-garde Parisian artists who melded images of nature with personal metaphors and symbols. I took the piece to a framer because I am having it made into a tryptch to hang over my bed, which is placed on the diagonal, in the far corner of the room, as you enter. Can't wait to hang it!
