Julian Corvin creates introspective, dreamlike landscapes that are a healing tonic for the soul. A successful artist, Corvin works full-time at Tampa General Hospital as a project administrator for the USF Infectious Diseases and International Medicine Division. Two of her spontaneous, vaporous pieces were chosen to hang in one of the hospital’s new buildings. Corvin envisions one of the paintings, which is displayed near the ER and Trauma Center, and contains a Buddhist prayer, emanating peaceful, healing effects. She believes that helping others makes her work more meaningful, but also utilizes her art to process her emotions on canvas.
