When Tomas del Amo takes photographs, he’s got the whole world in his hands. A professional photographer for 30 years, del Amo was originally a yacht broker in California’s Marina del Rey. He disliked selling boats, but was thrilled to photograph them at sail. After taking one workshop, he was compelled to pursue stock photography full-time, and immediately moved to Hawaii. Once there, he began building a substantial image library of sunsets, beaches, flowers and waterfalls. Today, del Amo has studios in Hawaii, Colorado and New Zealand, and shoots corporate, industrial, product and portrait photographs around the world.
